What is Superannuation ?

Superannuation for many is what we will rely on when it comes time to retire from the workforce. Depending on your circumstances that money needs to last for 20 or more years.

The last thing you want to have happen when you near retirement is the realisation that your super is not going to be enough for you to survive the remainder of your life. You want to be able to retire comfortable and be confident it will last your whole final chapter.

Since 2005 many have been able to make their own decisions about where they want their super funds deposited and who they want managing them. Even how your fund is managed is something you should look at and discuss with an expert.

Also don't make the mistake of so many and leave your multiple super accounts floating around. As superannuation is investment orientated it is better to keep your funds together or at least have a plan when diversifying your risks.
